Presbyterian Funeral Service
The Presbyterian (USA) funeral order of service is outlined below or sometimes titled The Funeral: A Service of Witness to the Resurrection.
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), or PC(USA), is the largest and mainline Protestant Christian denomination located in the United States. It is part of the Reformed tradition, and was established by the 1983 merger of the former Presbyterian Church in the United States. These churches are currently located all over the United States. This denomination boasts the most visible and influential Presbyterian denomination in North America.
There are funeral programs distributed at the ceremony and it is highly recommended you do so for all attendees to follow along with the flow of the service. You can easily create one by downloading any of our beautiful templates for programs. You can also distribute prayer cards along with the programs, if you so desire. Often there is a contact person in the Presbyterian church that may handle all the printed material for the funeral service. You may want to share this site with them and let the church know you are interested in one of our designs.
